The workshops will include a simple and delicious soup and a topic of your choice all for $25 each. Invite 8 or more friends for an interactive workshop. The hostess is free with 8 paid attendees. The Magic of Real Food – Learn what is real food vs fake food and what really feeds your body to enhance your health.

Connecting the Dots for Your Kids – Learn the difference between real food and fake food for kids.  Start where you are at and take baby steps to include more real foods in your child’s diet   Learn tools to avoid battles over food.

Sugar and Cravings – Learn to deconstruct your cravings for sugar.  Take home new ideas for reducing the amount of sugar you are consuming and overcoming cravings.

The Truth about Protein and Dairy -  Sort out the truth from the myths in advertising and how much milk and protein we really need in our diets.  Learn to feed your body what it really needs to be balanced and energetic all day long.

Glorious Greens and Amazing Grains -  Learn about the real whole grains and how to cook them and include them in your diet daily.   Learn to cook those dark leafy greens and find ways to include them in your daily diet deliciously.

Stress and Stress Eating – Learn new ways to identify your stress eating triggers and find new tools to help you change the way you respond to the stress in your life. Learn what foods will help to reduce your stress and overcome the effects of stress on your well being.

Soups On – Learn the basics of making quick and delicious soups. Eat Well and Be Well in Pregnancy – Learn what to eat to feel your best and grow a healthy baby.  We will touch on eating for nausea, energy, snacks, cravings, and emotions in pregnancy.

Eat Well and Be Well for Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia and Arthritis -Discover the foods that can decrease your pain and symptoms.  Discover how food is medicine and learn new ways to simplify your life and improve your overall well being.

Healthy Sweet Treats – we will make a variety of sweet treats in the class.  Enjoy sweets that will not take away your good health.

Health Food Store Tour - Entering a health food store can be an overwhelming experience for many first time shoppers. The tour introduces participants to new foods, discusses how those foods can be added to the diet and the nutritional benefits of adding them. Participants also learn how to read a food label, what’s healthy and what isn’t (just because it’s in a health food store doesn’t necessarily mean it’s healthy) and learn how to determine which produce is organic.

Farmer’s Market Tours – Buying locally grown food is not only the future of food; it is the healthiest choice to be made. This tour introduces participants to their local food sources, discusses the importance of supporting local food producers, introduces the idea of CSA’s (Community Supported Agriculture) and shows participants how to meet and talk to local farmers. We also talk about eating seasonally and food storage. 

Cooking Classes – An assortment of classes offered to teach individuals or groups how to cook and serve whole foods while discussing the nutritional importance of adding a variety of vegetable, fruits, nuts and grains to the diet. Classes are geared to help the busy person incorporate a variety of home-cooked meals into their daily routine without having to spend hours slaving over a stove.
